I grew up outside Washington DC, in one of those suburbs inside Maryland. However, Southern California was always calling so I moved west to surf and snowboard, though quickly found another passion.
Enrolling in fIlm school, I focused on art, cinematography and photography. Dianne Arbus, Harry Benson, Walker Evans, Bresson were all influencers and I use that not only in my photography but cinematography as well. I'm constantly studying film and referencing the classics and modern cinema masters like Deakins, Lubeski, Richardson, and Khondji. Whether on set as a DP, camera operator, or with my commercial photography, I bring a collaborative creative spirit every time.
